Collection: The Wall

This is one of the earliest pieces that I remember my mom creating. It’s always been one that I enjoyed because the colours were so bright and fluid that it really does feel like it is still falling off the canvas.

This piece was always interesting because of the sheer variety that you can find inside of it. The colours move in such a way that some people see a man calling out to others, while others focus on the features of the colour blending itself.

I’ve always seen a figure standing atop a wall and looking over it as if they had just freshly spray painted the entire thing. Maybe this is just my love of Jet Set Radio shining through, but there was always something about it that felt exciting to me.

The piece itself is 32x40 inches and was created using inks, colour medium and moudling medium.
